The race to RAAM begins

I wish I could just ride my bike but the journey to RAAM involves so much more than riding. Since qualifying in Ohio, I've been mentally preparing myself for the full on blitz needed to get me to the starting line in Oceanside, CA. To kick things off and to organize all my cycling posts/videos/photos, I have created all new pages. Click on the icons to the right to visit my new Facebook page, YouTube channel (I have a new video from Ohio posted), and email address. My Twitter account did not change.

Over the next couple of days, I will be wrapping things up in Virginia and heading to Texas. I have a bunch of family I haven't seen in years waiting for me and my sister will be crewing for the first time.

Back from Boise Vol II

So Jenn and I got back from my little sister's wedding in Boise, Idaho. It was a great time. Every time I go out there it gets harder for me to return to the hustle and bustle that is suburban life. For those of you who have never been, Boise personifies everything that is "the outdoors." Throw in having all of the family in one place and you get a wonderful weekend! And since pictures are worth more words than I can type here are a few....
